Concealing and brightening are not the same thing. 👀

Concealer hides. Brightening lifts and brings light back to the under-eye area. Knowing which one you need can make all the difference between looking refreshed and looking overdone.

One simple thing to remember with hooded eyes: anything a little deeper in tone can help the area appear less… sticky-outty. 😆 Very technical makeup terminology, I know.

Strategic depth creates the illusion of more space and can help balance the eye shape beautifully.

Probably going to stir up some “feelings” but this question comes up every year or so.

I think there is a large misconception about wax being a paraben (not speaking for everyone but for sure some confuse paraffin with paraben)

Wax based foundation treats mature skin so well and honestly one of the reasons I love this brand. Wax based (aka cream foundation) has longer wear, less moisture loss and is what gives the radiance. It allows the mineral powders to move with the skin instead of settle.

Anyways. Not wanting to get ranty here. Seint ingredients below and if you take issue with Vaseline (I put that s&$t on everything) then we maybe can’t be friends 😂

* Liquid Paraffin — mineral oil derivative/emollient
* Petrolatum — occlusive moisturizer (petroleum jelly type ingredient)
* Beeswax — natural wax
* Ozokerite Wax — mineral wax/thickener
* Cetyl Esters — emollient/wax texture ingredient
* Lanolin — wool-derived moisturizer
* Zinc Stearate — texture/slip agent
* Phenoxyethanol — preservative (often used instead of parabens)
* Titanium Dioxide — pigment/mineral sunscreen ingredient
* Iron Oxides — color pigments
