As we enjoy the gorgeous weather & good summer vibes, it essential to keep up with a skin care routine that includes an SPF in order to protect your skin from the sun. Although your skin may love your sunscreen & soak up all of the wonderful benefits, your hair extensions may not be too happy with the ingredients inside the bottle. The good news is, there are sunscreens out there that will love both your summer skin & luxury Seamless Hair Extensions!

Similar to how SPF and other beauty products have been known to stain clothes, your go-to sunscreen may have the potential to stain your hair extensions (especially blonde hair extensions). Sunscreens containing the ingredients, Avebenzone (Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane) & Octocrylene, can cause hair extensions to turn a shade of pink or orange -- although this may make for a beautiful sunset, our hair extensions say "no thanks". Sunscreens that contain these particular ingredients have the potential to go through a chemical reaction which can result in a change of color on the hair. The trick to finding the perfect SPF for your skin & your hair extensions is to opt out of using any sunscreens with Avabenzone & Octocrylene -- & find a rub-on, mineral-based sunscreen. When applying sunscreen, try to keep your hair up & off of your skin so that no product is transferred onto your hair. This will help prevent product build up or unwanted texture on your hair extensions.

Let me introduce myself!

My name is Rebecca & I have been a stylist for 6 years now. My personal style is being comfortable, yet fashion forward. My favourite colours to create on my clients are; lived-in style (anyone looking for lower maintenance this will work perfect for you!), balayage, highlighting & can’t forget about my brunettes! I have completely fallen in love with the new age layered haircuts! Who doesn’t love good face framing layers!!

I have been trained by numerous hairlines. I started off my first salon working with L’Oréal and Kevin Murphy (I still love their products) & most recently have been working with Schwarzkopf & OligoPro. I am now using Redken (colour line) & Color Wow/Curl Wow (hair care line) & loving it so far! I have recently completed trained for Hair Botox & Nanoplastia services. They are incredible options for optimal hair health, smoothness & shine! Training is so important to stay current with trends!

As someone that has suffered with hair loss for over 20 years I am able to connect with people & make them feel comfortable when they are looking for recommendations. Recently I have started to work side by side with Nichole & we have been creating the most beautiful custom colours for extensions & have also done some custom wig colouring!

Another thing I love to create is curly cuts ! Curly hair can be a challenging thing for clients to learn to style & care for. Curly hair cuts are a very custom service for each individual. Let me educate you on how to maintain those luscious curls at home!

Starting January 1st, we are taking a new innovative approach to separate our costs from our pricing. In doing this, you will never be overcharged, you will only be charged for the exact amount of product used in your appointment

Every head of hair, end goal, techniques and products used are different for each guest. Therefore pricing should be different per guest

SALONSCALE is a new smart scale technology that allows us to measure our colour usage down to the penny/gram, essentially separating our parts from our service

This is important to us, because colour costs increase yearly, forcing us to raise our prices to make up for it. SALONSCALE takes out the guess work, allowing us to give you a more accurate and fair quote pre-service; meaning you are only paying for what is used on YOU specifically

The SALONSCALE will be added to each bill after the service is completed. The SALONSCALE weighs, tracks and inputs what we use on your hair (lightener, colour, toner, treatments) into your client profile. Each time you visit us your profile will be on file that way we can either keep the same colour you’ve been loving or make adjustments to your formulas to give you that custom end result you desire

The foundation row we install on a clients head is a “beaded row”
