I finally hit send.

I’ve spent the last 2 years researching and honestly just obsessing over how to build a better way.

I’ve spent that time curating an environment for neuro-affirming care and trauma survivors. They may have different experiences but they do have similar needs when it comes to sensory & safety accommodations. I'm done with the noise and the social performance of the traditional salon industry.

I’ve had women fly in from Montreal and referras from folks as far away West Virginia to our small studio here in London Ontario because what we're doing literally doesn't exist anywhere else. That is a heavy realization.

We are taking these blueprints and turning them into a real education system.

It's no longer just about hair. It’s about creating a new standard of security. The Unmasked Standard is currently being reviewed by Master of Social Work professionals to ensure every protocol is in line with client needs.
This is the moment Sam's vision stopped being just a project in her head and started becoming a reality.

Clients: you deserve a space where neuro-affirming care is the standard not an afterthought. You shouldn’t have to perform or pay a social debt just to get your hair done. You deserve to just breathe.

We have managed to attract the most creative and absolutely amazing client base.

is an absolute fu***ng legend when it comes to fashion design. I'm not sure if her profile is public but I can guarantee you 90% of her wardrobe is thrifted and usually local.

She now has the hair to match!!!!

It’s 2026. Same weird staff. Same sensory safe standards. And certainly Still not for everyone.

We’re kicking off the year exactly how we ended the last one: refusing to rush you, refusing to overbook the day, and refusing the cliche salon environment.

How stressful is a hair appointment for most of our clients???

Y’all it’s March break!!! That means you’re either a) home and bored or b) home and wanting to leave the kids with the other parent and escape to get a moment of peace and quiet.

We got you covered with the option for silent appointments, just come in with earbuds and let ya girl work her magic. You get to catch up on tv or podcasts, relax AND leave looking like a fuggin babe not someone stuck inside with bored AF kids.

Moira has a few opening Tuesday&Wednesday late afternoon/early evening.
