We are not accountable today for what will happen tomorrow.

The future is a concept, not a guarantee.

Our responsibility is within this very moment.

Determine what you can do today to progress forward.

If what you determined is unachievable, pick something smaller.

Keep doing this until you have an action that you can do, that you would do.

Do this every single day.

That is all you have to do.

The result will follow the action, so put your effort into the action and let the result come to you.

What you put on your skin, what you put in your body, how you live...
We only get about 80 trips around the sun.
And the only body we are given is the one we have.
None of us will ever reach a state of perfection.
Which is fine, because perfection isn’t the goal.
The goal is to, whenever we have the option, whenever we have control,
We choose the things that will lead to a state of health and wellness.
A state worth living in.
A state worth spreading with those around us.
Live alive.

Take a moment tonight just for yourself and dive into one of these refreshing techniques:

Ice Cube Glide: Grab two SMALL ice cubes, one in each hand, and gently move them across your face. Keep it moving, never letting the ice sit in one area. If it feels too cold, take a break. Keep going until the cubes melt away.

OR

Ice Dip: Fill a wide bowl with water, add some ice cubes, and dip your face in. Aim for 15-20 seconds, but ease into it over a few days if needed.

Dry your face and then carry on with your usual skincare routine.

Note: If you have specific skin issues like eczema or rosacea, start slow and check for any adverse reactions before extending the time.

The skincare solution you’ve been searching for is here, and it’s simple:

You’ve tried other cleansers only to find that they left your skin feeling completely dehydrated.

On top of that, you weren’t even sure what was in it because the list of ingredients looked more like a dictionary rather than something that should be going on your face.

It’s time for a change, something more aligned with your needs and your standards.

Try all natural. Try hydrating. Try gentle.

All of this in one solution, your go-to cleanser.

Make anything into a habit using these 3 principles:

Although this is in the context of skincare, it actually works with anything.

Habits need to have a very low barrier of entry. Meaning it should be obvious, it should be easy. You shouldn’t need to exert any effort just to start the behaviour.

In the case of skincare, keep all your products on the bathroom sink, preferably in sight (assuming you do your skincare routine in the bathroom). Last thing you want is to have to find your products before using them. Another tip: always keep them in the same spot. Your muscle memory will thank you for this.

Next, your habits need to be fast. It shouldn’t take 15 minutes to perform your skincare routine. It should be effective but short and sweet, such that you are able to do it no matter no much time you have. You can always spend more time if you have it, but the core habit should be simple. In this case, a cleanser and a moisturizer, both completed in 60 seconds or less, is your best bet.

Lastly, your habits need to give you a sense of satisfaction when you’re finished with them. I like to take a moment at the end of my skincare routine to look at my face and appreciate the fact that it is clean and hydrated and that I specifically took time out of my day to do this. That in itself is a reward.

I also highly recommend trying to incorporate any habits you want to build into any already existing habits you have in your life. You will quickly associate one habit with the other, and you won’t miss either of them.

You need to clean your glasses/sunglasses more often and here’s why;

Glasses rest on the bridge of your nose, a particularly oily part of your face. Throughout the day, your glasses are collecting these oils.

They also may be touching the top of your cheeks, a particularly sensitive spot on your face.

The reason why this is problematic is because dirt and grime contacting your face for multiple hours a day every single day could cause your skin to react negatively.

The simple solution to this is to wipe down your glasses at the end of the day with a little alcohol.

Small habits like this all bring you one step further ahead on your skincare journey. Enjoy all of these practices knowing that you are doing them for yourself because you deserve that from you.

With winter here, you might be grappling with very low humidity which can lead to...

dry, flaky skin, dead skin build-up, and itchiness.

Low humidity occurs when there’s minimal moisture in the air—a common occurrence during cold weather and in artificially warmed spaces like your house or car.

While you can’t control the outdoor humidity, you do have power over your sleep environment, where you spend a significant amount of time.

Here’s a simple solution:
1. Get a humidistat—a device that measures room humidity.
2. Observe the average humidity range; 40-60% is ideal.
3. In winter, the humidity might drop below that range.
4. If it does, consider investing in a humidifier. They’re cost-effective and highly efficient.

Remember: balance is key. Monitor humidity levels to avoid making your room too humid.

No more secrets, it’s time to lay it out:

Normal is the average across time. Normal is the perfect and imperfect. Normal is the ups and downs.

Normal is sticking to your routines every single day knowing that you will never always have perfect skin, knowing that some days will be worse than others.

Normal is understanding that there are certain factors that are simply out of your control.

Embrace the journey and all that comes with it and be gentle with yourself along the way.

Drying your face isn't just a routine—it's an art, especially if you have sensitive skin.

The days of simply wiping your face dry are over.

Wiping is friction, and friction can be tough on the skin.

Here’s what I want you to consider:
Patting your face dry achieves the same result as wiping but is much gentler on your skin.

Take it up a notch and invest in a small, ultra-soft towel specifically for drying your face.

Remember: your skincare journey is built on the accumulation of consistent, small habits over a long period of time. Add this simple step to your routine, starting today.

Cold water immersion; exactly what it sounds like and is the ultimate morning wake-up call.

Packed with benefits, this simple practice can take your skin to the next level, and this is why:

❄️Benefits of Cold-Water Immersion❄️

- Reduced puffiness
- Tightened pores
- Increased blood circulation
- Improved skin tone
- Reduced oiliness

It’s as easy as submerging your entire face in a bowl of ice water for 15-30 seconds.
Avoid prolonged submersion, as it can lead to irritation.

The first few times might be challenging, but after a while you’ll find yourself craving the invigorating feeling.

If you have sensitive skin or any skin conditions, it might be best to skip this practice altogether. If you're eager to try, start with short 5-second immersions, waiting for any adverse reactions.

An underrated relaxing practice packed with benefits that everyone has to...

Face steaming offers all of the benefits of heat without the downsides of hot water, such as

Pore Perfection: Face steaming opens up your pores, making it a incredibly easy to remove built-up oil and dirt.

Boosts Circulation: Improved blood flow to your skin's surface results in a healthier complexion and a natural glow.

Detox: The gentle sweat caused by face steaming helps eliminate toxins from your skin.

Setting it up is quick and easy. All you need is a wide, heavy pot and a stable surface. Here's a step-by-step guide:

1. Place the heavy pot on a stable surface.
2. Add hot water to the pot.
3. Lean over it comfortably and safely.
4. Place a large towel over your head, ensuring all steam hits your face.
5. Steam for 5-10 minutes.
6. Rinse your face and continue with your skincare routine.

Bonus Tip: Enhance the experience by adding a single drop of your favorite pure essential oil to the water. Eucalyptus, lavender, or peppermint are excellent choices.

Disclaimer: The water and pot are hot, so exercise caution. Minimize pot movement to avoid accidents.

Note: If you have sensitive skin or other skin issues, monitor your face closely. If you notice anything unusual, stop immediately.

You need a non-negotiable skincare routine that you stick to every single day.

Keep it simple—it makes it quick, ensuring long-term consistency, and in skincare (and life), consistency is the key to success.

Cleanse:
Start fresh by washing away dirt and oil with an effective yet gentle cleanser.

Tone:
Set the stage with a water-based product, boosting absorption and ensuring even distribution for the next step.

Hydrate:
Finish strong with a serum or moisturizer, providing your skin the nutrients it needs to thrive.

These are the essentials. Additional steps are a bonus, enhancing your skin, but don't be fooled by a complex routine.

If you're tempted to skip your routine on busy nights, fall back on these steps. It only takes 60 seconds.
