below are just a few:
- Calming stress, anxiety, or panic attacks.
- Rebalancing an over-active nervous system.
- Increasing energy
- Cooling the body
Try relaxing and breathing for 10 minutes using this visual aid. inhale as the shape increases, exhale as it decreases. Speed can be changed through settings on the lower right corner of the video:

There is one thing I like to do to help manage stress during busy weeks - meal prep!. Once you get the hang of it, meal prep is a big time saver.
If i don't have time (or don't want to) meal prep for the week, I at least like to cook up a batch (or two) of my favourite soup for easy dinners.
If you'd like to give it a try, pick your favourite soup from It Doesn't Taste Like Chicken's blog, and be sure to share your favourite time or stress-management tips with the Wellness Works family:

If you're not getting enough quality sleep, chances are your body is not getting the time it needs to heal. Although the amount of sleep each person needs can vary, there are a couple of things you can do to ensure a good quality sleep.
Check out this short post by Lunah Life on creating an ideal sleeping environment:
Creating and Ideal Sleeping Environment — Lunah Life Times have really changed! With the weather cooling, I'm often looking for healthy ways to give my immunity a little boost (and -let's not kid ourselves- stay warm!).
Here is a lovely article by Insiya Rasiwala-Finn that introduces us to the Ayurveda concept of immunity being connected to our gut. She shares a few tips on how to improve the state of our Agni (or digestive fire), and even shares a recipe for a delicious tea you can make at home.
