5 years ago today, I opened the doors to SkinSunday.

I was 5 months pregnant, still throwing up daily, and opening a business in the middle of a pandemic was honestly no joke. But there was something about being pregnant that gave me this deep sense of bravery and drive to bring my vision to life sooner than I ever imagined.

In the beginning, it was just me.
Answering the phones, injecting patients, ordering supplies, learning how to run a business for the very first time… all while growing a baby too.

I came back to work just a few weeks after having my daughter — exhausted, navigating postpartum anxiety, but so incredibly determined to keep the momentum going and continue building the vision I believed in so deeply. Looking back now, I honestly don’t know how I did it some days, but I’m so proud that I kept going.

To look at where we are today honestly feels surreal.
An incredible team of 3 amazing staff members, new treatments and services I once dreamed of offering, and the most loyal, supportive community of clients who continue to choose and trust us every single day.

Being booked months in advance is something I truly could have never imagined when I first opened those doors 5 years ago.

I’m so proud of what SkinSunday has become — not just a clinic, but a space built on passion, education, trust, artistry, and genuine connection.

To every single person who has supported us, referred a friend, trusted me with your face, your skin, your confidence, or simply cheered us on from afar… thank you.
