Hey friends
We wanted to take a moment to tell you about our pup Levi. If you have been to the shop before and met him you know he’s a very sweet shy guy, always comes up to greet you to give you a sniff and sometimes a little kiss on the hand and then usually follows you to the chair for some more sniffs! That’s pretty much the extent of his interactions with clients, he really is a shy guy. Some of you will notice that we have moved his bed to in-between Dani and Sam and this is purely for people to respect his space. His bed really is his safe space; when he’s feeling like he wants a snooze or just sitting back to observe we let clients know to just leave him be. Just like us, we can get over stimulated with certain things and Levi is no different. As much as he loves being at the shop and saying hi to people he isn’t one that loves being loved up by strangers. I know this can be confusing especially if you see us engaging with him in a very different way but we are his everyday people. This is not to say he isn’t friendly as he very much is but he has his limits for his interactions. This applies to kids as well, please let your little ones know, of all ages to respect his space and boundaries when in the shop. Kids are unpredictable and although some dogs love them not all do, Levi will always keep his space with kids and observe curiously from a far. We have him at the shop because of his calm personality and energy and would love to continue to do so, so we are advocating and educating for our furry member that can’t.🖤
