These shelves have been in every home I've lived in since 1990.
They were bought for the upstairs bathroom in my grandparents house after our house fire in '89, and we went to live with them for a year after.
When I moved out, I took them with me and I've had them ever since.
Well, they've gotten beaten up and stained from 30 years of girls painting nails etc, and needed a bit of jeuging (sp?) up.
I got some tile stickers from and they are so far perfect. We'll see how they stand up to regular bathroom moisture, but thus far, I'm happy! $13 worth of stickers gave these old, faithful shelves a new lease on life.
