MEET SAMANTHA

Born and raised in Woodstock, ON, Samantha has been a freelance artist with 7 years experience in the beauty industry. Her passion and love affair began in her younger years, and her creativity on paper then transitioned to many beautiful faces that she has enjoyed creating different looks still today.
Many of her family, colleagues and her teachers noticed her exceptional passion and hidden talent, and supported her to continue to take her passion to a higher level of the makeup world. Samantha continued her studies in cosmetology for the four years and graduated from College Avenue Secondary School. Only spending a summer at home; she at the age of 18 packed up her bags, boarded on a plane and jetted off on her new adventure to continue her studies of makeup application at the renowned #1 college in Canada - Blanche MacDonald Centre in Vancouver, BC. As the saying goes “You’re young and healthy with no commitments - the world is your oyster”. Since then her life in the industry has changed.
After getting her certifications and training, Samantha spent several years interacting and sharing her knowledge of skincare and makeup with clients at Shoppers Drug Mart and MAC Cosmetics. She was sought out for her talents for creating special FX for halloween, proms and weddings. With her friendly and bubbly personality everyone enjoyed having her as their artist and collaborated with many professional photographers for photoshoots, charity events and galas. The one thing she loves most about her career, is being able to see the smiles on her clients face and reminding them how beautiful they are.

MEET CAITLIN

Born and raised in London, Ontario, Caitlin started her creative career at BealART, taking paint classes, pottery, and even welding. Refusing to be a starving artist, she continued on to earn her advanced diploma in Graphic Design from Fanshawe College. But nine years ago, Caitlin found yet another outlet for her creativity...
The year was 2012, and YouTube had just started to take off. Caitlin found herself watching makeup tutorials on repeat, trying to keep up and see if she could put together a look.
Having dealt with severe acne for almost half of her life, Caitlin had a hard time feeling confident in her own skin. With this hurdle and her background in arts and design, building skills in makeup artistry seemed like a no-brainer. She now finds herself indulging in her own creativity and intuitively working with every face shape, skin tone, hollow and blemish to create looks that enhance the existing beauty of her clients - not cover it up.

👉🏼 have a basic makeup kit⁣
👉🏼 have a tidy space to take trials and individual appointments⁣
👉🏼 open availability May - October 2022-2023⁣
👉🏼 have their own transportation⁣
👉🏼 be able to maintain and grow their own makeup social media⁣

Experience is an asset but not required as I will be teaching you the tricks of the trade and helping you be the best, most efficient artist you can be. ⁣

STORY TIME: we changed our wedding date from Dec 19th to this Saturday Dec 12 yesterday morning 🙃 with the increasingly tight covid restrictions, we didn’t want to take the chance that we couldn’t have our dinner with our immediate family next week. Could you imagine being our wedding planner 😂😂😂 bless your heart for saving us and navigating us through these weird ass times.
