Reflecting on 2021 and looking ahead to 2022, I realize that last year, I did a lot in offering my best self (time, intellect…) to others, my work and volunteer causes that are really dear to me, but I didn’t really offer much of my best self to myself. At some point along the way, I forgot that I am my greatest asset and that I come first all the time and need to appreciate in value. There are so many commitments to myself that I have not yet fulfilled, and investments in myself that are waiting to be made.

As I sought to understand why and how to address this, I asked myself why? Why have I spent so much time worrying about doing the things that I need to do in order to accomplish the goals that I have set? I discovered it all had to do with my concerns about how I will get all these things done, some of which are new to me and require challenging and committing myself. The worry that consumed me was not about whether I have the capabilities to get the goals accomplished, it was about FAILING as well as the TIME and COMMITTMENT that it will take, including overcoming all the associated challenges that may emerge to achieve my objectives.

Guess what? When I look back, I realize that worrying about failing and actually doing the work have robbed me of so much of my TIME and growth opportunities. It has been said that “Time is what were want most, but what we use the worst.”- William Penn

Having recognized this, I have made a commitment to myself to choose me everyday. I choose not to be daunted and scared by what it takes to be the most, greatest and best version of myself but to embrace it all and use my time better. I accept the challenge, look forward to the journey and the growth.

I have recommitted myself to this journey of (s), as well as elevated and deeper self-love and self-value.

Nadztural Beauty Cosmetics is a “wholistic” lifestyle skincare and haircare brand, which was born out of a need to empower people with sensitive skin issues, which includes conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and rosacea, to successfully master and treat their flare-ups. In my household, one of my sons and I have eczema, and my husband has psoriasis. Over the years we have been able to successfully treat and master our flare-ups by using products that I have formulated using natural, healthy, clean and skin-safe ingredients, couple with prudent asset management and risk management practices for skincare and haircare.

Our body is the most invaluable “portfolio” of investment assets we own. Our hair and skin are two of these invaluable assets. It is our belief at Nadztural Beauty Cosmetics that healthy and effective skin and hair care require an “Empowering Wholistic Appreciating Asset Management Approach”.

We view the Appreciation of our Assets as two-fold :

Living with eczema can be debilitating mentally and physically. If you are not strong enough, it can rob you of your self confidence and plunge you into depression. I know this because I have been there. In choosing to be the victor and not the victim, I decided that I will determine my eczema's destiny and not let it define mine. I took back my POWER.

I have been living with eczema from an incredibly young age. As I got older, my eczema grew progressively worse into my adult years. It has been around 10 years now that I made the decision to try natural ingredients in my skincare and haircare treatments. I realized that topical steroid was a temporary fix, which was also very damaging to my skin. Having accepted that eczema is not curable but controllable. I have worked consistently hard, doing a lot of research to understand my condition and how to better treat it. As a result, I have been able to formulate potent treatments for my atopic, contact, and seborrheic eczema condition, which have been successful in treating and control the flare-ups whenever they are triggered.
