There are many ways to use the healthy & flavour full Shaklee protein powder. In a traditional shake/ fruit smoothie, protein power snack balls or even add to your breakfast oatmeal/porridge. This morning, I enjoyed a Teff porridge, which I cooked beforehand & refrigerated. Just 1/4 cup precooked Teff, some almond/coconut milk blend, tablespoon of chia seeds & flaxseeds, 1 scoop of vanilla Shaklee 180 protein all mixed together & topped with some h**p hearts. You can add agave & cinnamon too. Tasty superfood breakfast!
If you're not familiar with Teff, it's a traditional grain found in Ethiopia which is gluten free & known for its natural anti-aging properties.
I've tried many brands of protein powder & Shaklee protein is the only one that doesn't have an unpleasant grindy texture, not too sweet or bitter. It's the perfect combination of flavour, texture & nutritional value. Want to learn more about Shaklee protein powders or place an order? Call me at 647-405-4471 or email me at [email protected]

Did you know..
🎼🎶 A spoon full of cinnamon makes the blood pressure go down 🎶🎼
DID YOU KNOW that eggs are not only a source of protein but also important to the brain? It is the choline in the egg yolk helps with memory. Some people tend to avoid the yolk because they believe it will increase their cholesterol, but it will not really have such an impact on your bad cholesterol as it is an great source of protein. I would be more concerned for those who eat eggs daily.
My favourite spice, cinnamon. Not only is it good for blood pressure and cholesterol. Did you know it can actually help your metabolism? Add a teaspoon to your protein shake (http://giftofnature.myshaklee.com/can/en/category.php?main_cat=WeightManagement&sub_cat=Shaklee180Smoothees) everyday for best results.

I've talked about it before; sugar can be the root of many health concerns such as obesity, diabetes, heart disease and much more. The problem with sugar is it is hidden in so much of the processed foods we consume like crackers, bread, salad dressing and many other foods we wouldn't think to look for it. This week's Maclean's cover story is about this white stuff we refer to as sugar. Check out the preview: http://www.macleans.ca/society/health/sugar-overload-a-preview-of-this-weeks-cover-story/

We've known about the benefits of fish oil to a healthy heart but new studies have shown the link to Alzheimer's. It has been shown that 1000 IU per day can significantly reduce your odds of getting this disease. Another marker to take note of is one's blood pressure. If the difference between your systolic and diastolic bp is 60 or more, you are at risk. Reduce your chances by supplementing your healthy diet with Omega Guard (http://bit.ly/1gkuurq) and consult your doctor for the possible need for bp medication. Be sure to ask for a med that can be used as a temporary assistant and make the necessary changes in your life to control your bp without meds. If you have questions, contact me at 647-405-4471.

Ever wondered what foods you should eat organic? Here is a short list of foods you should that are better to eat organic: Kale, Grapes, Strawberries, Celery and Potatoes.
Did you know sugar is as additive as co***ne? Diabetes, cancer and heart disease can be attributed to overeating sugar. Substitute the white stuff with natural forms of sugar to satisfy your cravings. For example, use honey or pure maple syrup.
Final Tip #5 Exercise. Are you working out 3-5 days a week but reached a plateau in weight loss? If you are doing the same exercise routine, you need to change it up. You need to keep your muscles guessing! Doesn't mean you need to exercise longer or more times a week. Just switch up your routine.
