I’m taking this time to formally re-introduce myself to you all! My name is Ti-Shai also known as “Shai”, owner of Shai’s Beauty Parlor. ⁣
⁣
From the age of 13 I started experimenting with everything from weaves to cuts to braids & I fell in love with the craft! I always did my own hair, made my own wigs & time to time would do my close family & friends hair or eyelashes. ⁣
I worked in a salon environment for over 3 years and took multiple hair and aesthetic courses during high school to strengthen my skills.⁣
I always knew I wanted to become a business owner and own a salon of my own but I never took it seriously after high school, instead I jumped into college & university to study the criminal justice system . ⁣
After some time it was weighing down on me … I didn’t want to pursue it anymore … so I followed my passion & dream and started Shai’s Beauty Parlor in 2017, & also obtained a hairstyling diploma! It was the best decision I made ! I love what I do and I love bringing out my clients true inner beauty! ⁣

We all have goals throughout life but What’s your goal for 2022? My goal for 2022 is to Discipline myself more with being active on social media. I’ve been in my zone the past couple of years, dealing with uncomfortable life changes & I also started experiencing arthritis in my wrists unfortunately. I have two beautiful daughters that take up most of my time after I leave the salon & My social media hasn’t been getting any love ! But that’s all going to change, I owe it to you all to bring you on this beautiful journey of being a entrepreneur, business owner, & showcasing my work. ⁣

Everyday Im building myself to do better and be better than I was yesterday. I’m so excited to show you all what I have planned for you ! New things are coming to Shai’s Beauty Parlor ! 💕🙏🏽
