Моє нове мило. Уявляла щось зовсім інше, але вийшло от таке. Запах ефірних олій анісу і лаванди. Як йоґо назвати? Може--- Веселкове?

I would like to introduce my new product- hair conditioner
This rich creamy conditioner is concocted by blending four amazing oils with bamboo and honey extracts using plant based emulsifier. Among oils used in making this conditioner are: Buriti oil, rich in vitamins A and E and Moringa oil, rich in behenic acid. Both oils hydrate and nourish hair and scalp, while two other oils -Coconut and Castor soothe dry and damaged hair and stimulate hair growth. Extract of bamboo and honeyquat add great moisturizing and conditioning properties to the conditioner and both bring shine and luster to hair. Last, but not least, panthenol ( provitamin B5 ) strengthens hair follicles, improves hydrating and reduces itching and inflammation of the scalp.
Друзі пропоную Вашій увазі мій новий продукт - кондиціонер для волосся. Зроблений на основі касторової олії і олій буріті, кокосу і морінґи з допомоґою емульґатора рослинноґо походження, з додатками пантенолу і екстрактів меду і бамбуку.
Олія Морінґи відома своєю здатністю живити шкіру ґолови і запобіґати сухості волосся а олії буріті і кокосу помякшують і відновлюють пошкоджене і ламке волосся і надають йому шовковистості і блиску Касторова олія і пантенол стимулюють ріст волосся, а також знижують запалення і подразнення шкіри ґолови.
Я додала екстракт меду який обволікає і зволожує кутикулу кожної волосини, а екстракт бамбуку поліпшує циркуляцію крові, стимулює ріст волосся і є натуральним силіконом, що надає волоссю після миття блиску і шовковитості.

Ode to lanolin.
I have a confession to make , I love lanolin. This greasy stinky stuff is my favourite ingredient in winter creams and lotions. The reason is simple: it is unrivalled in terms of skin protection from cold, wind and other factors that makes our skin in winter dull and dry. Lanolin does this job in the same manner as it protects sheep's wool from moisture and other elements, because this is what lanolin is - sheep's wool wax. Great emollient properties of lanolin were known even in ancient Egypt . Modern research shows that lanolin has physical and chemical properties similar to lipids of outermost skin layer-stratum corneum. These lipids help to regulate trans-epidermal water loss and make our skin hydrated and smooth. Although pure 100% lanolin is available on the market, using it as it is not easy....its very viscous, and has a strong smell of sheep . But as an ingredient added to face cream or lotion it is priceless....Attention: people who suffer from allergies to wool should not use lanolin. Ода ланоліну.
Я дуже люблю додавати ланолін в мої креми, особливо зимові.
Мабуть природа не придумала нічоґо кращоґо в сенсі речовини яка може захистити шкіру від морозу і вітру,і водночас живити і лікувати її.
Ланолін це жир, точніше віск овечої вовни.Це те що захищає овечок і їхнє
хутро від волоґи і інших неприємних речей.Тож не є несподіванкою, що ще в древньому Єґипті ланолін вживався як косметичний засоб.
Сучасні аналітичні методи дослідження показали що ланолін має хімічні і фізичні властивості подібні до жирів стратум корнеум, тобто верхньоґо шару нашої шкіри, а саме ці жири приймають участь в реґуляції втрати води епідермісом і в заґальному зволоженні шкіри.
Потужність ланоліну як емолієнту, тобто йоґо властивість пом'якшувати і розґладжувати шкіру значна і триває баґато ґодин. Отже дороґі жінки якщо ви маєте проблеми з сухою обезводненою шкірою в ці зимові холодні місяці, то рекомендую підшукати креми з ланоліном.
Користуватися 100% ланоліном було б чудово, але він дуже в'язкий і навіть коли очищений все ж має стійкий запах овечки.Тому найкраще пошукати косметичні засоби що містять ланолін як один із складників.
Також пропоную мій зимовий варіант зволожувальноґо крему з ланоліном.

Для україномовних читачів коротко передам зміст:
Японські вчені вивчаючи процес старіння шкіри зрозуміли частково чому шкіра втрачає здатність відновлюватися в старості. Стовбурові клітини які дають початок новим клітинам шкіри в процесі старіння і під впливом ультрафіолетовоґо проміння втрачають важливий білок- колаґен 17. Як результат втрачена здатність стовбуровою клітиною робити свою роботу і....наші зморшки, втрата еластичності і пружності шкіри. І хоча старість невідворотня...дві речовини в експериментах японських вчених змоґли достатньо ефективно відновлювати рівень колаґену 17 в шкірі. Ура!
Одна з цих речовин рослинноґо походження, називається апоцинін. І міститься вона в рослині Apocynum cannabinum, яка росте тут в Канаді. До речі немає нічоґо спільноґо з канабісом. Так що збираюся знайти цю рослину і спробувати зробити з нею креми. Якщо мене хтось скоро не впізнає ......не дивуйтеся!☺️☺️☺️

A bit of interesting info about some essential oils (EO) properties.
In this study blend of eucalyptus, cinnamon, rosemary and wild carrot essential oils was studied for its anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties. Here is the link: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5552930/.
In short : the study shows that this blend of EO when even diluted 100 fold to concentration of 1% was capable to kill up to 90% of viral particles of flu H1N1 after 60 min exposure. I think this is awesome. Of course a flu virus is not the same as corona virus, but I am going to make this blend and give it a try anyway.
For those who wants to make this blend at home here are details: add 3 drops of each essential oils to about 3 tablespoons of any oil you have at home: olive, sunflower, avocado etc. Most of these essential oils can be bought in any health store. Maybe cinnamon and wild carrot EO are harder to find , but they can be substituted with the oregano and clove EO, which also have an awesome antiviral properties.
How to use? Diluted essential oils can be applied directly to skin: rub a few drops into chest or apply on your wrist.
What is unique about any essential oil--- the molecules are so small , they easily pe*****te our skin barrier and in 20 minutes are already detected in our blood. So, in some way it is a medicine, which when applied to skin starts to act inside our bodies in 20 minutes. Of course as with any medicine you have to be careful. Undiluted essential oil can cause skin irritation.
We can use those oils for cleaning and disinfecting surfaces too. Add 10-15 drops of each oil to a cup of 70% alcohol: ethanol or isopropanol (rubbing alcohol). Pour mixture into the spray bottle and apply to door handles, light switches,toilet handles, faucets,countertops,remote controls etc.

Here is my new page, where I will try to maintain a blog plus will offer for sale some of my products.I have been experimenting with cosmetic formulations for a few years. It was not always a very smooth experience and quite a lot of my lotions and soaps ended up in the garbage. But I like experimenting, so I continued to try and learn. Here I offer a few products which I like and use every day and which were well liked by my friends.
