Submissions for the VZN Awards 2026 are officially open.
Year four of Canada’s image-based competition for beauty professionals, open to artists worldwide working in hair, makeup, fashion, music, dance, photography, and visual arts. Designed as an Oscar-like recognition for our industry. Winners are named VZNaries, the trailblazers, and innovators shaping where beauty goes next.
This year, the ceremony lives inside Kas’kayd - The Beauty Festival, landing in Toronto this September 20th at Stackt Marketplace. Not a trade show. Not an expo. A full day beauty festival. A cultural platform where the industry shows up to celebrate, sell, learn, and be seen. The VZN stage is the heart of it.
$110 CAD per entry. Enter as many categories as you meet the requirements for. Deadline: July 4, 2026.

Timing is everything…
Typically, we would conduct an interview to get a little more insight into whomever graces our cover, but we have had the pleasure of interviewing the incredible Larisa Love in a previous issue.
This time, however, we had the privilege of spending quality time with her, working with her to put together a show like no other. What an astonishing experience it was to really get to know her. If I had to describe Larisa Love in three words, it would be “cool as f #*k” (also kind and inspirational)...
