My clients first time getting lashes 💖💖💖 We decided to start with a light hybrid set. A true “my eyelashes but better” kind of vibe. Her eyelashes look stunning with her blue eyes 😍 Love working on healthy long virgin lashes. Thank you for trusting me for your first ever set 💖💖💖

Had the pleasure of doing this beauty’s lashes for her bday!
Would you have been able to tell this one required bridging to fill her gaps/baby lashes?
If you look at her before picture you can see she had very little lash hairs. Especially the centre of her eye 😳🥲 some parts had gaps in between and it wasn’t until I got in later into the set I realized she had gaps.
She asked for a longer length and I knew that if we didn’t layer her lashes the outcome of her extensions would look very sparse (FYI the longer the lashes the more sparse they appear). Layering extensions with different lengths help the lash line look denser- especially important when the client doesn’t have many lashes. For the areas that I knew I shouldn’t lash I used a wide 0.03 mega fan to cover the gaps.

This set required lots of mapping and mental maths 🤓 but I’m glad I was able to give her her bday lashes! And look at how good she looks 💖 Remember ladies if you’re going to be getting your lashes done for an extended period of time go to someone who can work with your natural lashes without damaging them! I’m always 100% and let my clients know when a look isn’t possible or when I think they need a good lash break! If your lashes become damaged you won’t be able to keep getting the full fluffy sets you love and your lashes won’t last as long either 🥲
So moral of the story- baby your lashes!

There’s been such an influx of classic lash appointments lately but I’m all for going back to the basics 😍

I had to do a lot of lash direction correction on her because of how curly her natural lashes were. I also needed to apply her lashes in a way that lays flat like a base on her curly lash so her extensions don’t pop off. To have a smooth uniform lash line it’s especially important to direct natural lashes correctly for classic lash application because there are no fans to hide any directional mistakes. Though it took a little longer due to the circumstances, extra steps are important to ensure a good set with strong retention!
