If you’ve never used handcrafted artisan soaps before, you may not be aware of the differences between an artisan bar and a commercial soap.

You’ll want to be sure to keep your bar dry between uses. Most soap dishes will collect water causing your bar to drown and turn mushy. Likewise, if you keep a bar in the shower, try to keep it out of the spray from the shower head. A soap saver is a great way to extend the life of your artisan soaps.

There is a shelf life. My soap doesn’t contain any preservatives, so it won’t last forever. It should be used within about 6 months or so.

Lathers great with a shower puff!
