First time rebatching a soap! The soap that I chose to rebatch was cured for a month and had cosmetic flaws only. I grated the entire loaf of soap and sprayed rose water hydrolat between the layers. The next day, I added jojoba oil and pound it with pestle and mortar to achieve this smooth "egg" look haha! This way of rebatching a soap is supposed to make it super gentle, perfect for sensitive skin! Looking forward to try it out~

"How are cold process soaps made? Why should I use CP soaps instead of commercial soaps, liquid hand wash or body wash?" I was wondering the same thing when I first started researching about CP soaps. After months and months of research on soap making, I found out that this is the most traditional and natural way of making soaps and that it has so many benefits that commercial soap can't offer! In this series of posts, I will explain to you why you should absolutely grab your first CP soap to try out for yourself! In this first post, I explained the process of making a CP soap. As you can see, it takes at least 4 weeks for the soaps to cure. But the waiting time is super worth it because after washing with a CP soap, your skin will feel super clean AND moisturized at the same time! It will not feel overly clean or drying like when you use store bought soaps. In the next post, I will talk about the benefits of glycerin that is in the CP soap, so stay tuned!
