Restoring the Head of the Brow ✨

Let’s be real—there’s rarely a perfect case scenario in brow tattooing. But during consultations, I always focus on the best approach for each client’s unique features.

In this case, my client was missing the entire head of the brow up to the iris. This isn’t uncommon, but it does present a challenge. Since she has oily skin, microblading or nano strokes weren’t ideal—on this skin type, strokes tend to blur over time, losing their crispness and becoming harder to maintain.

Instead, we opted for a soft powder brow, which will heal beautifully and be easy to refresh year after year. I kept the tails and arch more saturated while ensuring the heads remained soft and gradual for a natural blend. This technique eliminates the daily struggle of freehand drawing brows, making it a game-changer for my client.

Once healed, the brow heads will soften, recede slightly away from the center, and develop into a neutral medium brown. In 6 weeks, we’ll assess how they’ve settled and refine them as needed. With big transformations, taking a gradual approach is key—it allows time to adjust and perfect the final look.

Soft Powder Brows In the Making✨

When she returned for her follow up session, the results were so seamless and natural and nearly undetectable but under the bright light of the lamp we were able to see everything that was contributing to the integrity of the shape we had created.

When you leave the first session versus when you return, you should expect to see two completely different results.

First session, it’s normal for the brows to feel bold and to have a warm undertone.

Second session you should have a slight tint of color that appears neutral and light a saturation.

At your follow up we’ve learned two things; how you heal and how much additional pigment we plan to add in order to get you the final healed results we both want.

You MUST trust the process and I assure you we are aligned on the same outcome; natural, undetectable (if possible), perfect eyebrows!

Healed results from this look will be about 30%-40% lighter and barely visible to the untrained eye 😍

Makeup Consultation✨

Outfit: Soft silver dress
Accessories: Gold understated accessories
Hair: Blowout with relaxed curls
Makeup: Effortless and natural but make it worthwhile for her to have hired someone for her birthday makeup. Wants skin to be glowy, and eyes to appear lifted. Loves blush! “I trust you.”

My favorite words: Give me freedom, and I will create something to naturally enhance and subtly correct/balance your features.

My Recommendation:

I love using makeup as the accessory that pulls everything together, especially when approaching every other matter with simplicity. It’s classy AF!

Skin: On these occasions, I immediately think of skin as an accessory, using it to add a pop of color via blush and to create a “rappelle” between the textures in the outfit and the skin. It’s a beautiful way to create harmony.

Eyes: Selecting a shimmer undertone needed to be strategic since we were mixing cool and warm metals with the silver dress and the gold accessories. My recommendation was to do a rose gold wash over the lid with a contoured eye and corner lash to make corrections and lift a naturally downturned eye. The choice of color brings together both cool tones with the pink and warm tones with the golden hues of the rose gold.

For lips, she already had her favorite lip liner ready to go, so we strategically lined them to give more volume, added a creamy lipstick, and a touch of gloss in the center to bring together the glow from the skin, eyes, to the lips.

Lip Blush✨

Notice the enhanced volume here!

This patient had undergone multiple rounds of filler and didn’t necessarily need more volume but desired additional color to create the illusion of volume. The results are outstanding when you compare the outline’s contrast to the original lip pigmentation. Keep in mind, with lip blush, pigment can only be implanted on the actual lip surface. You might be surprised by the additional real estate available for pigment deposition, contributing to an overall fuller-looking lip.

Remember, the color will heal 30%-40% less vibrant and lighter. Our aim is always for a natural look!
