You were strong, tall, beautiful, and proud.
Skillfully made and with love, offered to the crowd.
You knew your mission, to remove impurity.
To offer wellness: your obligation, at the cost of integrity.
Little by little, you genuinely erased yourself.
Letting go of the bubbles embedded within yourself.
O, how will you end? Thrown and rejected? Recycled?
Will you be completely used?
Nonetheless, who would dare argue
And say that you are of no use
Gone is your strength, done is your length
But let your pride remain as you will never be horrific
For you will remain my most useful cosmetic.

Tu étais solide et grand, beau et fier.
Travaillé avec soin et avec bonheur, offert.
Tu connaissais ta mission, déloger impuretés.
Offrir bien-être, ton obligation. Au coût de ton intégrité.
Petit à petit, tu t’es effacé sans rancœur.
Laissant s’échapper les bulles de ton cœur.
Finiras-tu au rebut? Finiras-tu recyclé?
T’utilisera-t-on complètement?
Ton utilité ne serait être discutée.
Ta grandeur n’est plus, ta solidité, disparue.
Que ta fierté demeure, jamais tu ne seras vil,
Car tu demeures mon cosmétique le plus utile.
