This sweet pup came in for a full shave, and during the groom I discovered that his prong collar had become embedded in the mats around his neck. I was able to safely remove it, and he’s now much more comfortable.
A gentle reminder to anyone who uses a prong collar: these tools require proper fit, handling, and supervision. They are meant for training sessions—not to be worn all day. Be sure to remove the collar as soon as your walk or training session is over, and check your dog’s neck regularly for any signs of irritation or injury.

Also, this is a well kept dog with a loving owner who should not be shamed. They simply didn’t know better. 🫶
A little awareness can go a long way in keeping our pups safe, healthy, and happy. ❤️🐾

A big transformation for this sweet rescue pup. 💙

He arrived with severe matting, and it was such a privilege to help him feel comfortable again. Watching him leave looking—and feeling—like a whole new dog is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.
