"My healing", oil and acrylic on canvas, 2019.
My journey started around the same time I've started this painting.. and just like this paintings journey, I felt like I had to do everything right. And when it didnt work I felt lost. I felt incomplete. But than I saw my power. I felt my freedom for the first time and my healing process began. I now know the power I have over my life, my freedom, my body, my mind. It's all mine to take care of, no one else.
I am now still learning to trust myself every single day, and trust my golden growth that gets me to my truth. And how everything I've been through was all to raise me above my own ocean that I was drawning myself in.
Now my inner child is safe, shes playful, shes strong.
Now I could be me. And everyone else could be them.
