My approach is always rooted in listening first. Honouring her wishes to look natural, refined. Soft skin, gentle definition, and a glow that enhances.

Because beauty at this stage isn’t about transformation it’s about preservation. It’s about respecting her features, her comfort, and her story.

My philosophy for bridal beauty has always been simple:
Makeup should never feel like a costume. And that philosophy doesn’t stop with the bride. It extends to every woman sitting in the chair that morning… especially the ones who have been there from the very beginning.

On this day, that meant creating a look for my beautiful bride that felt natural, timeless, and effortless while also making sure her mom, Debbie, felt just as radiant standing beside her.

Because bridal beauty isn’t only about one person.
It’s about honoring the women who helped shape the moment.

When everyone still looks like themselves confident, comfortable, and glowing that’s when the magic happens.

My client Andrea is the prime example of what I posed about in my story today. These were my thoughts earlier….

There is absolutely nothing wrong with doing your own makeup on your wedding day.

Somewhere along the way, it started to feel almost taboo like if you don’t apply a FULL FACE of products you’re somehow not doing it “properly.” There’s something so powerful about a bride choosing to show up exactly as she knows and loves herself!

I’m loving these soft, natural bridal looks lately. Fresh skin. Defined but effortless eyes. Lips that look like your lips, just a little enhanced. It feels timeless. Elegant. Completely you.

Makeup shouldn’t feel like a costume on your wedding day. It shouldn’t hide you. It should highlight the features you already love and make you feel confident walking down the aisle.

You know your face better than anyone. You know how you like your brows. You know how much blush makes you feel alive. And when you look back at your photos years from now, you’ll still recognize yourself.

There is nothing more timeless than authenticity. Nothing more elegant than confidence.

I am so here for this becoming the norm in bridal beauty less pressure, more individuality, more real beauty.

POV You’re not following trends and simply want to look like a "better” version of yourself on your wedding day. This is the GOAL every time a bride sits in my chair. I always say it is better to stay true to yourself rather than follow what everyone else is doing on Instagram.
