The salon will be CLOSED January 9th - 18th for renovations. Booking will be a bit cramped before and after the break, so if you’re in need of some hair love, make sure to book your appointment asap!

I just want to make a clear announcement that
✨Masks will still be required✨for hair appointments, despite the government mandate being dropped as of this weekend.

Because I work in a small room, very close to and touching my clients, and because the salon is in my home, I’m not comfortable welcoming unmasked clients at this time.

Thank you all for your continued patience as we tread through this sticky pandemic stuff. My partner healed from COVID-19, and then it was my turn to get sick. I have had symptoms for over two weeks now and those symptoms persist. However I have been finding more and more energy and I haven’t had a fever in some time, so I’m optimistic that I will be back to work soon.

I’m currently booking appointments for as soon as late next week. If you need your hair done, reach out and I will find a place to fit you in as soon as possible!

I would also like to note that I’m going to be stepping up my protocol at work, to better protect my family and yours:

* Every client must wear a well-fitting, clean mask for the duration of their appointment.
* Every client must wash their hands when they arrive.
* I will be wearing N95 or KN95 masks, as suggested by the government following any period of quarantine. I will also wear safety goggles, wash my hands between clients, and sanitize all salon surfaces with alcohol and/or Lysol.
* I require that all of the clients I welcome into my home are vaccinated, and will ask that you send proof of vaccination prior to arriving for your appointment.
* Please do not bring friends or partners along for your appointment.
* If you need to use the washroom while you’re here, I will sanitize surfaces in the washroom before and afterwards.
* I will still have disposable masks for you to switch to during or after a shampoo service, so that you’re not stuck sitting in a damp mask.

If anyone has questions or concerns, or needs clarification about any of the above, let me know and I will respond ASAP.

Just a quick note to let you all know that my partner currently has COVID and we are in quarantine (our last day in isolation should be January 3rd).
I will keep you all posted if there are any delays — I don’t have symptoms yet but if I do start experiencing symptoms that would extend our quarantine.

Otherwise I am back to work on January 4th, and ready to give your hair a refresh for 2022!
