Maybe it was never a phase.
Maybe colourful hair, music, makeup, and expressive beauty was always just people trying to look more like themselves.
And honestly?
I love creating lashes for people who still let themselves be a little different đź’š

Not every lash appointment has to look the same.
The second someone says:
“Can we add colour?”
…my brain immediately starts creating 🎨💚
These are the appointments that remind me lash artistry is still art.
Would you try green lashes or keep it classic?

I used to think I had to fit into one version of myself to be successful.
Soft enough.
Pretty enough.
Professional enough.
Palatable enough.
Like creativity only counted if it looked a certain way.
But this weekend reminded me that artistry has never lived inside one box.
Spent Mother’s Day weekend with my family at an oddities event surrounded by preserved moths, strange collections, handmade art, dark beauty, curiosity, and people fully embracing the things that make them different.
And honestly? It felt inspiring in the same way lashes do.
Because artistry is really about attention.
About seeing beauty in details other people overlook.
About patience, intention, delicacy, emotion.
Taking a moth taxidermy class weirdly reminded me so much of my work as a lash artist. Steady hands, precision, respecting delicate structures, creating something meant to be admired closely.
I think the best artists allow themselves to explore beyond what’s expected of them.
Not everything meaningful has to fit neatly into one aesthetic or identity.
You’re allowed to be soft and strange.
Feminine and unconventional.
Professional and deeply creative.
That’s where the magic usually lives anyway 🖤🦋

A weekend for lovers of the strange & unusual đź–¤
Spent Mother’s Day weekend exploring , creepy art, bizarre vendors, and taking a moth taxidermy class hosted by
And weirdly enough… it reminded me a lot of lashes.
Patience. Precision. Delicacy.
The beauty in tiny details.
I think being a great lash artist comes from letting yourself stay inspired by the world around you, even the unconventional parts of it.
Artistry doesn’t only exist inside the beauty industry.
The market was honestly SO inspiring creatively. Tiny details everywhere, handcrafted art, textures, preserved pieces… definitely left with ideas brewing 👀
Would you ever go to an oddities event?
Most people think darker = better.
That’s not how I choose lash sets.
Brown lashes soften features, blend with lighter tones, and give that “you just look naturally beautiful” effect.
Black lashes create contrast, definition, and a more noticeable finish.
Same client. Same mapping.
Only difference? Intention.
The right set isn’t about trends🤎it’s about harmony.

“Nothing crazy”
…so we added a little whimsy instead 💅
Wet set + soft pops of pink & purple =
still wearable, just way more fun.
This is your sign to try colour without committing to full colour.
Colour doesn’t have to be bold to be effective.
Strategic placement of pink + purple through a wet set
adds depth, dimension, and just enough personality
without overpowering the look.
This is how you elevate colour lashes.
A little whimsy, right where you need it ✨
Soft wet volume with the tiniest pop of pink + purple…
because your lashes don’t have to be basic to be wearable.
It’s subtle. It’s intentional.
And it hits different in the light
Save this for your next setđź’śđź©·
Lash extensions aren’t the problem…
poor application is.
When done properly, lash extensions are customized to your natural lash health — weight, isolation, and technique all matter.
Damage doesn’t come from the service itself, it comes from shortcuts, lack of training, and ignoring what your natural lashes can actually handle.
This is why choosing your artist matters more than choosing the service.
Healthy lashes will always be the standard over here 🤍
Save this for your next lash appointment & send it to a friend who’s scared of lashes
fills aren’t meant to start from scratch
this is weeks of retention + a quick refresh to bring everything back together
she’s always loved brown lashes for that softer definition
and honestly, it suits her every time 🤎
good technique = better retention, healthier natural lashes, and results that last
