Contrary to popular belief, it is not "better" to have dirty hair before your color appointment. Too much product buildup or oil can actually prevent hair color from working effectively.

The one exception? Bleach retouches. For this service, you can have lightly unwashed hair. Disrupting the scalp by washing prior to bleach application can cause irritation to the scalp due to the product composition.

I spent many holidays, weekends, and nights away from family and friends.

But in the second half of my life, I've cultivated something amazing- a magnificent love towards the beauty industry, my clients, and my community, as well as a business to call my own.

I could not have done it without my mother, who ignited my passion for hairstyling & esthetics, as well as every friend and client who has ever sat in my chair, recommended me, or supported me in any capacity.
