Meet Paper Protégé, a Canadian greeting card brand built on creativity, passion and the people who inspire us along the way.

Jenn was once part of the YDS team, working at our front desk while already building Paper Protégé on the side. What began at just 17 years old, with a simple idea, a printer, and a creative spark, has grown into a beautiful brand now found in boutiques, shops and Farm Boy locations across Canada.

The name Protégé reflects the people who guide, encourage, and inspire us. For Jenn, one of the most meaningful inspirations behind the brand is her dad, who was her biggest cheerleader, encouraged her creativity, and introduced her to the world of business. His influence is a special part of the story behind Paper Protégé 🤍

Watching Jenn turn her side hustle into what it is today makes us beyond proud, and we’re so excited to now have her beautiful cards at YDS!

We are especially happy to welcome this beautiful brand because Kindled Raine is a brand we genuinely love and because it was created by someone very special to us, the wonderful Rainey. ✨ Saying goodbye is never easy, especially when it’s to someone as special as Kiara 💛

After over 3 years at YDS, our amazing nail artist is off to start a new chapter back home in Argentina, following what she truly loves🐴🇦🇷

Kiara is a true artist. There is no nail design too wild, too detailed, or too creative, bring her your inspiration and she was always excited and ready to make it happen 🎨💅🏼
And let’s not forget.. she is basically our walking nail color library. Ask her for any color and somehow, she knows exactly which one it is! 😂💅🏼

From beautiful nail art to her legendary homemade alfajores, Kiara has left her special touch on YDS 💛

We will truly miss your talent, your creativity and of course, YOU. Thank you for almost four wonderful years and for all the memories along the way.
