One of the biggest misconceptions about Hollywood waves is that they’re simply curled hair. In reality, this is one of the most detailed and time-consuming styles we offer, requiring a minimum of 1.5 hours to create.

The hair is carefully sectioned, curled, clipped, brushed, teased, shaped, and refined until every wave sits exactly where it’s meant to. This particular look was curled away from the face rather than all in one direction because our client wanted hair draped over both shoulders.

And here’s something many people don’t realize: Hollywood waves is a very stubborn style. Once the hair is placed and teased into waves, it’s designed to stay that way. Unlike softer curls that can be tossed around throughout the night, this style holds its shape and structure. If you run your fingers through it or move sections around, you’ll lose the look that took so much time to create. (And it will be a mess)

Because of the extra time, skill, precision, and product required, Hollywood waves are priced higher than our standard event styling services.

Definitely. We are happy to provide a preview for anyone who would like one. Same pricing and policies apply as the bride.
