☁️ Giving the gift of handmade to friends and family is by far one of my favourite things to do.
This is the Flax Sweater by using Canadiana yarn. I love using this yarn because it’s acrylic so new moms can machine wash it and it gets softer with every wash and wear. I’m using a duplicate stitch to add the first letter of their name, like a Weasley sweater.

January 2022.
It was a chilly one which turned my temperature blanket into dark and moody blues and greys! I’m so excited to see the gradient from this to beige and pinks! I’m almost caught up to be able to do one row per day!

2022. The year I finally make a temperature blanket. I remember the first time we had a knit night and showed up with the most gorgeous temperature blanket, I was in awe and knew eventually I would jump in and make one. When she posted the other day with neutrals it was the motivation I needed to finally go to and choose my colours. I stuck with mostly neutrals with pops of blue and blush to compliment our living room because you know darn well it’s going to be a statement piece.
Have you made a temperature blanket? Will you now? 😏 One row per day, 365 rows for a year in temperatures. Each colour corresponds to a given temperature to determine the colour of your row that day. I’m using the average temperature of the day but you could also use the temperature at noon.

My best selling pattern by far is the Arabesque Beanie and it continues to be a favourite every season! I love getting orders for these hats cause they are so quick and so fun to make! This one is off to its new home today but I kinda want to make one for myself in this colour! Have you tried this pattern yet?

I had a sample picture of this stitch in my stories a couple of days ago and you guys made me laugh so much with your guesses! I got Dumbledore multiple times which I think would be awesome hahah someone guessed a mop and a swifter 😂 such good guesses but that is not it!
Any other guesses before the final reveal on Saturday? Hint: It’s a movie and im very punny 😂 someone has to guess it I feel like it’s so obvious 🙊

This is completely unrelated to yarn but his little face needs an introduction. We started toying with the idea of adding another flouff and went back and forth because they are so many pros and cons to be considered. At the end of the day we decided to just do it and my husband bought him for me as an early 30th birthday present. I wanted to name him Stark but he’s too calm and sweet tempered it just didn’t fit him so I decided on Gryffin shirt for Gryffindor.
