We had the most magical time taking Vi on her very first international trip! Girl is only six months old and rocking two stamps in her passport already, wild.
I took approximately a billion photos, but until I go through them, here's a shot from the first time Jason and I went to Portugal!
Oh 2025, where do I get even start?
If you know me personally, you’ll know that I’ve had a very difficult few years. There’s been deep loss and heartache. When I found out I was pregnant in late 2024, I was terrified by how badly I wanted it to work out. Jason and I had experienced so much in the last few years, and we wanted this baby so badly.
We went into 2025 with fear and a growing hope.
The weeks started to pass, and that poppyseed sized hope turned into a blueberry, a plum, and then an apple.
We found out she was going to be a baby girl.
We felt her move.
And it started to feel real.
While we eagerly waited to meet her, we spent our time surrounded by our incredible friends and family. We soaked in the love of our dogs, we dived into our hobbies.
And then at 1 am on July 14th, it was time to head to the hospital.
That morning when I heard her tiny but mighty cry enter the world, our lives shifted. She was here, she was real. We were officially parents.
These six months have been the absolute highlight of my entire life. I’ve shed countless tears of joy while staring down at her sweet face.
Mom is the best thing I’ve ever been called.
My heart is so full it feels like it may burst.
Thank you, 2025. You gave me the world.

This year, this messy, incredible, year.
2025 gave me everything I've ever dreamed of, my girl, Violet. It's been hard to take a step back from so many of the things I love, but it's absolutely worth it.
I am so grateful for this year.

Y'all how are we feeling about AI generated hair photos? 🤠
I think they could have a (SMALL) use if you're trying to describe a look but can't find photos, but that's about it.
Personally, I'm worried they'll just add to the unrealistic inspo photos that are out there.
It's a yee-naw from me, but what do you think?
