Three sessions, one transformation.
From a maze of thorns, shadows, and tangled branches, these roses found their way to bloom.
I love the symbolism behind this piece — beauty growing through difficulty, light emerging from darkness, and the reminder that even the wildest places can become fertile ground for something beautiful.
Thank you for trusting me with this journey. 🌹

I know.
That’s probably not what you’ve been told.

This piece was tattooed over an old eczema patch — something that required a thoughtful approach to both design and placement.
What makes it even more special to me is that these daffodils weren’t taken from Pinterest or a stock reference library. They came from my own photo archives, captured during one of my spring walks through Ottawa.
I love when tattooing becomes a collection of personal stories layered together: a client’s skin carrying its own history, and flowers borrowed from moments I’ve stopped to notice and photograph myself.
A small reminder that inspiration is often much closer than we think. 🌼

Working with ferns is a skill of its own.
At first glance, this tattoo may look quite simple. But if you take a closer look, you’ll notice that the entire fern gradually shifts from soft and airy at the top to darker and more grounded toward the center.
Creating that transition is where the real challenge lies.
Every leaf has to carry a slightly different value, while still feeling connected to the ones around it. Too much contrast and the flow breaks. Too little and the design becomes flat.
These subtle gradients are often invisible to most people — which is exactly the goal.
The most difficult tattoos are not always the ones with the most details.
Sometimes they’re the ones that need to feel effortless.

Professionalism begins long before mastery.
It begins the moment you understand that someone’s skin is not a sketchbook.
A reflection on responsibility, respect, and the mindset that shapes a tattoo artist from day one.
I’d love to hear your perspective below.

Every day, I see countless artists treating stencils as mere copy-paste transactions, and clients believing a «tattoo sketch» is just a beautiful JPEG on a flat screen.
> It is time to shatter this illusion once and for all.
When people ask why a tattoo is “expensive,” they usually see only the final number.
What they don’t see is the time, the physical strain, the years of practice, the constant learning, the equipment, the preparation, the design process, the aftercare responsibility, and the energy that goes into every single piece.
A tattoo is not just ink on skin.
It’s hours of focus.
It’s posture, eyesight, steady hands.
It’s creative work before the appointment and physical labor during it.
You’re not paying for minutes.
You’re paying for mastery, precision, and a result that will live on your body for life.
If you’re looking for the cheapest option, there will always be one.
If you’re looking for intention, experience, and long-term quality — that’s a different choice.
Choose wisely. Your skin remembers everything.
