From the extensive hands-on hours to the consistent note taking, tests, and exams, you’ve shown real commitment every step of the way.

Completing the program with such outstanding results is a true testament to your hard work and now it’s time to celebrate this well-earned achievement 🎉

Hudson 🤍

Anyone who ever met Hudson always commented on that big, beautiful head of his. People would ask if he was purebred, and we’d laugh and say he must have been part lion. He had a presence about him that was impossible to miss.

From being our welcoming committee at the front door every time we came home, to serving as our self-appointed “chew inspector” — especially at the dinner table, where his little nail marks remain as a sweet reminder — Hudson was always at the center of everything. He truly was the life of the party.
He was also our infamous escape artist. If he heard the pool gate not quite click shut, he was ready to make his move, he was a water dog through and through. If the neighbor’s garage door was open, he’d happily stroll in to visit his backyard fence buddies as though he owned the place. These are the moments we’ll miss the most — the quirks that made him so uniquely Hudson.

Hudson was one of those rare dogs that everyone knew. Through running the home hair salon business, he met countless people and collected endless pets, treats, and of course, nicknames. Our favorites were “Hudsy Cakes” and “Hud the Stud,” because he truly was so handsome. Oh and how could we ever forget “Nicki Minaj” — all thanks to that adorable b***y of his.

When we brought Brooke home, Hudson was a bit surprised to suddenly become a big brother. But once he adjusted (and once she became slightly less annoying), he embraced the role wholeheartedly. Before long, they were inseparable — truly best friends. Brooke adored him. She was like a little mother to him, always “cleaning” him (or maybe just kissing him endlessly, judging by his perpetually wet ears), chasing him in the backyard, and wrestling in the evenings. They shared such a special bond. Brooke hasn’t just lost her best friend — she’s lost her constant companion.

Hudson touched so many lives. We know many of you have your own stories about him, and that means so much to us. We are beyond grateful to have had nearly 12 years with him. The boys grew up with Hudson by their side, at soccer games, during study sessions, at sleepovers in their rooms, and through every stage in between.
For Rob and I, Hudson was there during some of the hardest days of our lives but somehow just having him near made everything feel a little lighter.

Two weeks ago, he was completely fine. Then, so suddenly, everything changed. We hoped he would bounce back, but day by day he declined, and his body began to fail him.

True to who he was, Hudson fought bravely right to the very end. In his final moments, there was something in his eyes — as if he was telling us that everything would be okay, that it was our turn to be strong for him now. He had always been our protector, and even then, it felt like he didn’t want to let us down. All we could do was protect him in return — holding him, loving him, and surrounding him with comfort the best way we could in his final days.

Today we don’t say goodbye — we say see you later. 🤍
�He did his job well, and we’re pretty sure he’s left Brooke fully trained to take over.

Hudson, you will be missed more than words can ever express, from your constant arm nudges for pets to your (mostly) on-command shake-a-paw which you did these both for me on your final days ❤️ We are thankful you are no longer in pain and left the way you wanted!
We hope heaven has endless cheese, baguettes, and all the treats your heart desires.

We hope your brother Tex — who you never got to meet — was there to greet you. Tell him hello from us, and tell him how loved you were and how beautiful your life was with us too!

We love you, Hudson. 🤍�Now go rest peacefully sweet old pal, until we see you once again 😢
