Photo shoot spray tans - lets talk about them for a minute! Depending on what your trying to achieve, for example this client was going for a fitness shoot to show all her hard work, in order to do that we needed to go darker than a regular spray tan. Why? Because the lights that the photographer needs use washes you out. Ever gotten your makeup done and feel like in photos it doesn’t show up? Same thing! When I did brides full time I had to emphasize the makeup so the camera would pick it up. But every ones worry always is “I don’t want to be orange though, it won’t be right ? No! this doesn’t mean your going to be orange, just a deeper tan. Each tan is custom to you and what your looking for! ✨

Some new faces around here and I also realized I never post MY face on here, or quite frankly my personal page either! So a little about me, I am born an raised on Vancouver Island, I have been spray tanning since I was 17 ( I’m 29 this year) I Went to Blanch Macdoanld in Vancouver for the global makeup program, I was a freelance makeup artist for 7 years & mainly did bridal. I still do makeup here and there but I slowly cut back on brides and focused more on spray tanning. I had to a close my studio for almost two years while we went on a wild ride & moved our family to thetis island while we built our dream home in Parksville! Then COVID had to happen... and had to delay opening again. But being back now has been so amazing & This year I hope to add a few more amazing services to my studio, I’m planning so far to go to Kelowna and be taught by for Microblading & machine brows, I have loved my results from microblading since 2017 and have thought about doing it ever since. I also want to add Dermaplaning and to be taught by who’s hands down the best in the game for skin care, highly suggest them for any skin related issues or struggles!! And then I’ll be looking into Henna brows & brow Lamination... and the final one that I really want to do and is Ar**la tattooing for people who have had to have mastectomies 🤍!
