Hello everyone! My name is Alyssia and I am a newly certified Eyelash Technician in Port Alberni, BC offering Classic, Hybrid and Volume eyelash extensions! I started getting lash extensions about 5 years ago and instantly fell in love with the way they look and made me feel. Sometimes they just give you that little boost of confidence by enhancing your own natural beauty! Also, being a mom and ditching the mascara has cut down so much time getting ready. In June 2023 I decided to take the eyelash extension course. Right now I am offering reduced model pricing while I practice and build my skills as a new Lash Technician. That being said, doing a full set can take me a bit longer than a more experienced technician. Did you guys know that each eye has between 90-150 eyelashes! That means while providing this service I am going in and isolating one singular lash to apply an extension between 180-300 times! This takes time and I never want to rush the process to make sure you are leaving with a nice full set of beautiful lashes that you are satisfied with. This can take about 2-3 hours. Eyelashes have a 3 stage growth cycle causing the lashes to shed, which means that every 2-3 weeks fills are necessary to maintain a beautiful set! It is also normal to shed 1-5 lashes per day, that is when the lash has reached the end of it's growth cycle, so don't be alarmed when you notice this.
