Hi! I’m Cera, the face behind Lashed & Waxed by Cera💕

I’ve been in the beauty industry since 2014, and from the very beginning I’ve been passionate about helping people feel beautiful, confident, and completely comfortable in my space.

Creating a relaxing experience and delivering the best results possible has always been my goal. If you’ve ever been in my space..you’ve probably heard me joke that it’s my “OCD” (really, my perfectionist personality 😅) that gives me such an eye for detail. I’m constantly investing in education, learning new techniques, and looking for ways to improve because I truly believe my clients deserve the very best. I’m never done learning.

I grew up in Nanaimo, where I built my business from the ground up. Five years ago, my family and I made the move to Port Alberni, and I had the opportunity to start all over again. Watching my business flourish for a second time has been one of the most rewarding experiences, and I feel so grateful for every single client who has trusted me along the way.

A little about me outside the studio... ✨
Im a twin and I think having a twin is the coolest thing ever. I’ve been with my husband since 2014, and we got married during the pandemic. Together we have two beautiful daughters who keep life busy, fun, and full of adventure. When I’m not working, you’ll almost always find me hiking. Hiking is where my soul ignites. I absolutely love pushing myself on the trails, exploring new places, and spending time in nature.

You’ll probably hear me talking about my girls, hiking, and my animals just as much as beauty! We have a 10-year-old German Shepherd and a tabby cat named Kiara who are very much part of our family.

This business was my first baby, and it will always hold such a special place in my heart. The reason I continue to love what I do after all these years is because of the incredible people I get to meet, laugh with, and build relationships with every single day.

I’m loving how this technique focuses on keeping the lashes hydrated throughout the entire process, leaving them soft, lifted, and healthy-looking.

And my favourite combo? Adding brows. A fresh lift + sculpted brows just frames the whole face so beautifully.😍

It’s honestly rare these days that I get to do a full set since most of my clients are regular fills, so this was such a treat. We went with a hybrid set, blending natural lengths to enhance what’s already there and wow, it just brought everything out so beautifully ✨

It’s simply the Korean way 💛

My clients are LOVING the switch from traditional lifts to the Korean technique..the feedback has been unreal. Longer-lasting results and a curl that’s noticeably more lifted and defined ✨

And from my side? I’m seeing healthier, happier lashes at every appointment. The Korean method uses gentler solutions and focuses on hydration throughout the entire process and it shows 🙌🏼

Traditional lash lifts are still a beautiful option, especially for clients with longer lashes or those who stay consistent with proper aftercare and hydration🤩
