Did you know I made a color course for coloring extensions?

I was stuck in this rut 6 years ago trying to teach myself everything I could about extension coloring. After so many hollow, muddy, overtones extensions I took a TON of education and taught myself my OWN coloring techniques.

Extensions by far are one of the hardest things to color match, root melt and lowlight and I wanted to give other stylists the tools to create beautiful custom blends !

IF YOU DONT DO THIS, you won’t have a clean, comfortable install !

When I teach a Philocaly Hair Extensions extension class, we always start with sectioning and beadwork. I stress MULTIPLE times through the day how important this is!!

⚡️You must have clean, perfect sectioning on both your row, and your beadwork to ensure a clean, comfortable, and damage free install. ⚡️

Your foundation is the most important building block to your install, and if your sections aren’t clean, you’re going to have unwanted tension & pulling which can cause plucking, tension spots and even traction alopecia !

Take your time sectioning. Make sure everything is balanced. There are no cross hairs coming into your beds or sections from surrounding areas, and then before clamping your bead ensuring your centered within the section to evenly distribute the hair within the bead!

Take an extra ten minutes to make sure we’re keeping our clients scalp HEALTHY 💜
Remember that installing is not a RACE. Slow down. Take your time 💜
