I have been lucky enough to be in this industry for 27 years and 22 since we opened Katz. It has been a wild ride to say the least. During this time I have been blessed to have two lovely daughters. Without the flexibility and incredible supportive stylists/ Marlene and clients, this journey would have been a lot more difficult.
I have met some of the most amazing humans, who have taught me so much along the way. I am forever grateful for the opportunity to be a part of so many people lives.
The loyalty of Katz clients is the greatest gift I could ask for. The talented tribe I’ve worked alongside all these years has shaped me into the stylist I am today. There is no greater reward than making connections, learning and sharing about life all while making someone feel beautiful.
This is the most gratifying industry to be in.

With 16 years behind the chair in Red Deer, I’m all about creating hair that feels effortless and grows out beautifully. As an independent stylist at Katz Meow I specializing in precision cutting, dimensional brunettes and bright blondes.
For me, it’s all about the connection. I love taking the time to really understand your lifestyle and hair goals so you leave feeling like the most elevated version of you.

"Est Elle hair academy graduate (2024). I specialize in men’s cuts but love blondes and reds. The best part of this industry? It’s always evolving—new techniques, fresh styles. When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll find me buried in a book or snowboarding in the winter. Can’t wait to see you in my chair!

Hi, I’m Kelsey! This year marks my 10th year as a hairstylist. I’ve been lucky enough to call my hair home for almost all of those years. I specialize in long hair & blended, lived-in colors. I would say I am known for my attention to detail (ok, and maybe a touch of OCD! 🙈)

You can currently find me in the salon on Saturdays - I am always accepting new guests, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch if Saturday hair hangouts sound like your thing!

I’m also in my full-time mama era with a 6 year old girl & an almost 2 year old boy (& can’t forget George! 🐶) I feel beyond lucky to spend my weekdays with them, but also so grateful to then have my Saturdays in the salon with you all too.

A few of my favourite things:
My family, coffee, crafting, reality tv, traveling, reading, yoga.. & I love a good glass of wine or an espresso martini!

Kelsey Clements Hair

Hey! I’m Nicole Laine. I’ve been behind the chair for 11+ years. My favorite things to do behind the chair is a little bit of everything! Fashion colors, blondes, lived in color and textured haircuts to name a few! I also have over 10 years experience in tape-in extensions. When I’m not at the salon, you’ll probably find me at the gym, exploring somewhere new (usually for food or country music), or at home hanging with my two cats Pearl & Peter. I feel beyond lucky to work in an industry I love.. especially with the dreamiest view overlooking Bower Ponds with the best team in town. I can’t wait to have you in my chair! 🙂
