Typically with new clients, I require pictures to be sent to me prior to accepting their appointment request. This is to make sure they're booked in properly and so I know what to expect. ​​​​​​​​
Sometimes, those photos aren't an accurate representation of what the hair actually looks like. ​​​​​​​​
In this particular case, the photos my client sent made it appear like her hair only needed a few small adjustments. ​​​​​​​​
BUT, I know better lol. I almost always plan to be surprised by someone's hair so I'm prepared for having to do more. I book a bit extra time, speak with the client about what to expect. Almost always under promise and over deliver. This will save you a ton of time in the long run. ​​​​​​​​

I love when a client comes to me and wants a complete refresh/do over of her colour. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The initial session is always longer, and more costly because of that. But, each session after that will be upkeep and not a full transformation. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

hand-tied weft extensions added. 2.5 rows to be exact. I honestly LOVE blending out wefts on short hair. It's challenging & it's definitely doable on most lengths of hair. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Throwback to my 1st ever shoot, and 1st shoot for Contessas. Here’s 1/3 looks I created for Sask/Manitoba hairstylist of the year.

1. Retouch/ re colour my client’s roots
2. Do a partial foil to bring up the blonde
3. Tone at the sink and voila!

Bleach retouch on her roots and lightened up most of the ends to get rid of the brass & even out the tone.

Lightened everything up and toned to this beautiful beige colour.

1. Lightened up everything previously lightened
2. Refreshed her foilage (balayage in foils) by bringing it up higher at the root
3. Toned and did a treatment
4. Installed two packs of extensions
