What to expect after procedure:

1-2 Days Post-Procedure:

• Initial appearance: Your brows will look darker and more intense than expected. This is normal and will fade in the coming days.
• Swelling: Mild swelling around the eyebrow area is typical but should subside after a few hours.
• Redness: There might be slight redness or irritation around the brows.

3-7 Days Post-Procedure:

• Scabbing and peeling: Small scabs will form as the skin begins to heal. Do not pick or scratch at the scabs, as this can cause scarring or remove pigment.
• Itching: Some itching is normal as the skin heals. Keep the area moisturized with a healing ointment as recommended by your technician.
• Darker color: The pigment may appear darker and even “crusty” at times. This is part of the healing process.

7-14 Days Post-Procedure:

• Scabs fall off: The scabs should begin to flake off naturally, and the color will soften and lighten as healing progresses.
• Light shedding: Some of the pigment might shed with the scabs. This is normal, and the color will settle after healing.

2-4 Weeks Post-Procedure:

• Color settles: After the scabs have fallen off, the color may appear lighter and more natural. It’s normal for the final result to appear about 20-40% lighter than immediately after the procedure.
• Full healing: By this point, the skin will be nearly healed, but the pigment may still need a little more time to fully settle in.

Tips for Aftercare:

• Avoid water: For the first few days, avoid getting the brows wet, including swimming or long showers.
• Sun protection: Avoid direct sun exposure, as it can fade the pigment prematurely.
• Avoid makeup: Refrain from using makeup directly on the treated area for at least 1 week.
• Avoid picking: Do not pick at any scabs, as this can affect the outcome and lead to scarring or pigment loss.

Touch-ups:

• A follow-up touch-up session is typically recommended 6-8 weeks after the initial procedure to fill in any spots that may have faded or didn’t hold the pigment well.
