6️⃣ Shea butter, fat that’s extracted from the nuts of shea tree, is solid at warm temperatures and has an ivory colour 🤍
It has significant levels of vitamins A and E, and anti-inflammatory and healing properties. This means that shea butter can condition, tone and soothe your skin.
💡 Fun fact: Shea butter has double the melting point (48°C) compared to coconut oil (24°C). When prepping my ingredients, I always need to put shea butter in the microwave for twice as long as coconut oil to melt it into the liquid form.
