Got home with my truck full of the last items from my downtown studio. And instead of unloading, I got pulled into 3 different chickie directions 😆
First, I brought home a few new chicks from Buckerfield's Salmon Arm to sneakily slide under my mama hen. But her and her 3 chicks had come out of the nest and were wandering around the coop. So, that wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. But it all worked out and mama has happily adopted the new chicks.
And then, with her and her chicks out of the nest, there were 2 remaining eggs left all alone, without a mama butt to help them hatch. So I brought them inside and created a makeshift mama butt, and already one has hatched.....one more to go.
Finally, the broiler chicks upgraded their waterer, because they are growing so freaking fast!
And of course, once everyone was sorted, I continued to pace from each one, just to make sure they were actually all OK! 🤣🤪
And this is why I now work from home 🙏😆

As the seasons of our world change, we change with it, and I have been feeling the pull to simplify my life and spend more time in the countryside. And so, I have decided to move my massage practice to my home in Silver Creek (only 15mins away from downtown Salmon Arm.) I feel excited to welcome new and existing clients to my home and share the peace and tranquility of the country and Mount Ida. I will keep busy with painting and setting up my new space this next month and plan to make the full transition by the end of May. I welcome you to stop in to the downtown studio for one last session there, or just to say hi and chat about new beginnings.

Brenna will continue to provide relaxation massage and tuning for her valued clients. She can be reached by text or phone at 250-833-6990. In order to deepen her massage skills for her clients, Brenna is heading back to school to become an RMT this fall. She has so appreciated the work she’s been able to do and the beautiful clients she’s met at our little space overlooking the lake.

Bree is incredibly grateful for her time at Sacred Mountain. It has been an opportunity to share her passion for supporting others on their healing journeys and deepen her connections within the community.
Bree will still be available for Craniosacral Therapy. She is offering Mobile sessions (she comes to you) to the Shuswap and North Okanagan regions for people and for animals, as well as offering sessions for people at her home in Silver Creek.
Bree is also offering Equine Facilitated Learning with her four horses at her farm. These sessions support personal development, healthy relationship dynamics and emotional healing. No prior horse experience is necessary.
One final thing to note, Bree is currently training in Traditional Birthkeeping and will be offering this support for mothers starting in 2025.

I've been sitting with this quote this morning, allowing it to quietly settle in my heart as I went about morning chores with the herd. There is a sadness in me, a recognition that right now in our world, Trauma remains so prevalent for many people. The understanding that Trauma unsupported and unhealed permeates throughout life. It changes the way we interact in the world, going from open-hearted children to frightened, hurt adults just trying to survive. The triggers that arise to protect us from further harm...and equally keep us shackled in our pain.

And

In spite of this, I also hold Hope in my heart. I remind myself that Humans are incredibly resilient. We each hold a Light inside that can never be put out. And as we find our way back to Safety and Wholeness within, as we find Ourselves again, that Light not only comes back, it shines brighter than ever before.

The path back to our Light is unique for everyone. For me, it was Craniosacral Therapy that allowed me to start coming back into my body, regulating my nervous system, and gently letting go of all the hurts I'd collected over the years. Almost a week in the life of puppy lovin. Here's what we've been up to. Lots of feeding and sleeping (for the puppies, not necessarily for Vida and I.) Vida is starting to feel comfortable leaving her babes so we can soak up some sun and dirt outside 😁
Pups eyes are still closed but they have more than doubled in weight!
And the puppy journey continues 🤸‍♀️💜🌻

Wow! This beautiful mama started her birthing journey at 8:00 this morning, and plopped her last mini me out just before 5:00 this evening. The last couple days have felt wild. I feel so happy and blessed that her and her 5 mini's are now resting, as am I ❤
