Before her PMU journey 2 years ago, and healed two years.

Before, Healed, and After her 24 month Pigment Boost. Note: PMU heals 40-50% softer than immediately after look resulting in the perfect ‘no makeup-makeup’ look. 😍

First thing in the morning, studio lighting, hair pulled back, and a realization: I was in such a rush today that I literally only put on my Jane iredale SPF powder foundation. 🧴💨

But here’s the secret… I’m not exactly “bare-faced”. Aside from that quick sweep of SPF powder foundation, my morning routine was already done thanks to my permanent makeup (eyeliner, lip, blush, and Brows) and my 6-to-8-week maintenance routine.

Every couple of months, I treat myself to our Pamper Package – Dermaplaning, Brow WOW, and Luxury Lashes.

For me, Permanent Makeup, and regular skin maintenance aren’t about a drastic transformation. They are about time management and choosing how I spend my energy.

• Placement: The pigment is deposited strictly within the lash bed (the space between your eyelashes).
• The “Smoke”: A specialized shading technique is used to pixelate the edges, creating a soft shadow rather than a hard line.
• The Illusion: It makes the base of your lashes look naturally dense and your eyes look more awake, without the “done-up” look of a daily makeup routine.
The Healing Process:
One of the most important things for anyone considering this is understanding the “Healed vs. Fresh” transition:

Immediately After:
The color looks dark, crisp, and much “louder” than intended. This is due to the pigment sitting on the surface and minor inflammation.
During Healing:
The skin exfoliates, and the pigment settles under the dermal layer.
Fully Healed:
The intensity drops by about 30–50%. The result is that “whisper” of shadow we LOVE—soft, hazy, and nearly undetectable as a tattoo.
✴️Why It’s the “Goldilocks” of PMU:
Traditional eyeliner can sometimes look too harsh as we age or when we aren’t wearing other makeup. Smoky eyeliner is often preferred because:
