I've been away from social media this past week, trying to come to terms with how my good friend — client second, friend first — could pass away so suddenly.

She was my first appointment on Sunday, as usual. We spent time together, had some laughs, and then she was off. Just a few short hours later, I learned that she had passed away.

I was in complete shock. How was this possible? She was young, healthy, and full of life.
We had been friends for more than 15 years. She was one of the very first people to support me on this new path, and she continued to encourage and cheer me on every step of the way. We supported each other through our shared love of arts and crafts, and I will forever be grateful for her friendship.

My heart breaks for her young children, who will grow up without their mother, and for her fiancé, family, and friends who loved her so deeply.

Her light shone brightly and touched the lives of so many in the short time she was here. She leaves behind countless memories and will be missed by many.

I will miss her dearly.

May she rest in peace, and may her memory be eternal. ❤️
