All adhesive are back in stock!

Lashes look simple… until you zoom in.
At the microscopic level, this industry is chemistry, physics, material science, surface energy, humidity control, biology, and engineering happening all at once. The smallest variables — the surface your adhesive sits on, the air around it, the interface between lash and glue — can completely change your retention.
The littlest details make the biggest difference.
If you’re an educator…
If you’re a lash artist who actually wants to understand your products…
If retention matters to you…
This is the level you should be paying attention to.
We’re diving deep into surfaces, interfaces, and adhesive behavior — the real science behind why lashes stay on (or don’t).

What do you use as a glue holder and why?

Clear lash adhesive isn’t just “black glue without the black.”
✔️When carbon black pigment is removed, the adhesive behaves more like a pure resin. Without pigment particles, the viscosity is lower, the wetting is cleaner, and the bond film becomes thinner and more uniform.
👉🏼This matters at every interface: PBT fibers, natural lash cuticle, the air interface, and the palette surface.
👉🏼 The result is an invisible, glassy bond that functions like a standard adhesive, but behaves differently in application—often curing faster, staying workable longer on the palette, and offering more anchor points for volume, wispy, and bottom lash work.

This whole conversation about surfaces + interfaces hasn’t even started in the lash industry… until now.
It’s not just about “having the right humidity” for your glue. What does that actually mean? How is your adhesive interacting with the surface it sits on and the interfaces it touches? And how can we make that micro-environment more desirable beyond a humidifier/dehumidifier or tossing on random primers and bonders?
We’re going past the basics.
Because honestly… the perfect glue holder doesn’t exist yet.
