Our subsidized programs are ending in September and we are hoping to keep them going until the New Year. We are running an Anna Mae's Pie and Donut Fundraiser all the money raised will go back into the programs to keep them subsidized.

Our Baking Program is designed specifically for seniors living with dementia in a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment.

Participants enjoy:
-Baking simple, familiar recipes
-Socializing with new friends
-Gentle cognitive stimulation
-Fresh coffee, tea, and homemade treats
- A meaningful afternoon away from home

While your loved one enjoys an engaging experience, caregivers receive valuable time to rest, recharge, or run errands knowing they're in caring hands.

The program occurs every Tuesdays 1:30 - 3:30pm at the Knights of Columbus Hall, we are accepting 2 more participants. Only $35 per session which includes HST.

Today our Community Outing Group had lunch at Shakespeare Pond

We went at the perfect time and left just before the rain!

At lunch we talked about how they are enjoying the outings. One participant said that they appreciated that each week we go somewhere different so it’s something to look forward to and it doesn’t get boring

These outings have been a big hit, providing a change of scenery, some new memories to be made and some connection with friends week to week - it’s been great watching the friendships grow.

Our baking group made Sour Cream Coffee Cake yesterday 🤤 🤤

Hiring!

Looking to hire a certified PSW who can do an overnight shift every third weekend on Fridays and Saturday 9pm - 10am. This would be the weekend you would work. Client is located in Stratford.

Could hire as an employee or an independent contractor if you have your own liability insurance. All candidates must have a vulnerable sector police check, CPR and First Aid and enjoy working with seniors with dementia.

Can pick up hours throughout the week as well or just be a call in for weekends.

This is a popular group, each week the group goes to a different restaurant for lunch. Thanks to businesses like At Home OT we're able to offer it at a subsidized rate to keep costs low.

At Home OT helps adults and seniors live safely and independently at home through personalized Occupational Therapy services. They service Mitchell and Stratford.
