I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of you who have supported Jacq and Olive salon over the past 5 years.
We are now under new ownership and the new name is “Olive your hair”.

.glover has been a client for many years and I’m so proud of the young woman she has become. I was honoured to work on her hair while created soft and elegant makeup for her gorgeous day in Lumby BC.

I don’t do much wedding hair anymore these days, but it was fun to work with some kids I’ve known since they were little. Seeing as a young professional makeup artist was brilliant!!!

Some caramel balayage on dark hair for summer. In different lighting. Blondes really love to reflect light 🌤️

Heading towards spring 2023, think about blondes in a dimensional way. Soft blends, and tones but almost (not in a 90’s way) chunky😝

I have to say, all these layers and curtain bangs are putting me in my element as a 90’s stylist. **ghaircut

If you’ve got white hair and have been colouring it dark for years and you are wondering if you would suit light hair…you would!
It has more to do with the tone of hair than the lightness. Touching up that dark root every four weeks for the next 20 years, that’s over 500 hours of hair dying!!! 😜
