Adelin Suzette Make-up

For as long as I can remember I have loved the Beauty Industry. I swear it was in my bones.

To put it into perspective, I grew up in a family of 10. 1 Brother and 9 older sisters.
My dad, Principle of my school, Father to nine Daughters, wasn't a fan of Make-up. So when his 9th daughter his 6 year old came to school with mascara on, IT WAS A NO GO.

In my head, I know my application was spot on, so his dislike for mascara must have been his reasons for making me go and wash it off. 👧🏼

I was 6, and wearing makeup, and while it wasn't allowed in public it certainly was happening at home :)

To continue this story, as I was growing up, I remember when I got my first job. I would save up my money to invest in all the beauty care products. I would go to my local store, or if I was lucky, do the hour drive to Winnepeg and have many more options at my fingertips. My budget was small, so the places I would go would range from the dollar store to the grocery store and if I was lucky Walmart. I loved it.

Why AM I sharing this???

BeautyCounter is going to the Canadian Parliament this SPRING. I Can't Wait. Why? Because I understand that BeautyCounter certainly isn't at a price point that everyone can afford. I myself joined to buy the products at 25% off. 😉 But I TRULY believe in their mission and their advocacy work. I want to be able to help give all girls and women who, like me, are into all things feminine, the ability to walk into any store and know that the products they use are going to be safe for them.

This is what BEAUTYCOUNTER is doing. They are leading the change in the personal care industry. Not only in their own products, but also so that WHEREVER you are buying the products you use, They will be SAFE for you. We are passing laws, and making sure there is accountability for any business selling Personal Care products in our Country.

Time to go, My 3 yr old is wanting Mascara on...

The best part of my job is making women feel their most beautiful. Everyone is so unique and has a different comfort level when it comes to makeup. Even for me there are things I need to get used to. Ask me 5 years ago and I would have said I never do anything to my brows. Today it's not something I would forget. (On the days I make time to do my makeup that is 🙈🙊👦🏻👦🏼) Who's with me? Fill in your brows or does it still make you a bit nervous??
