Meet Sena (she/her) ✂️

Born in Alberta to Pakistani parents, Sena is a self-taught junior barber and a recent MSW graduate from U of T.

Her work is grounded in gender-affirming care, whether that’s through a healing haircut or her clinical practice.

You’ll find Sena behind the chair at the shop and supporting clients through The Q***r Wellness Co.

Meet Aras ✂️

Aras is a trans barber from Turkey, now based here in Toronto. Alongside barbering, he’s also an artist and gardener, bringing care, creativity, and intention into everything he does.

As an apprentice, Aras is continuously learning and growing his craft in community. His approach to barbering is rooted in connection, curiosity, and creating space for people to feel at ease.

We’re really excited to have him growing with us 💈

She’ll be offering the same q***r- and trans-affirming cuts and vibes you expect here, and booking with her helps keep wait times down for everyone.

We’re so excited to officially introduce Theo (he/him), TQB’s new Assistant & Apprentice!

Theo is trans and deeply believes in the power of hair as self-expression. For him, hair isn’t just about style — it’s about identity, confidence, and feeling at home in your body.

He’ll be supporting in the shop while training to eventually offer gender-affirming haircuts of all kinds. If you see him in the space, say hi! He’s eager to learn, help out, and grow within our community.

Fun fact: Theo plays roller derby and has competed in tournaments as far as England 🛼🔥

We’re building something special over here — and we’re so glad he’s part of it.
