Fate? Coincidence? Right place, right time? OR .....
Sometimes the signs are SO OBVIOUS that He is working for us...I made this note in December to stop by Jojo's salon for a hug and a surprise Merry Christmas; long ago Jojo used to cut my hair until I got too lazy to drive downtown for haircuts...She was always a character - a very sensitive & warm hearted person - always a story, sometimes a few tears, often belly laughs; those hair appointments were usually "experiences," if you know what I mean.

I never made the visit in December. But yesterdayI had an appointment downtown, and although it was a beautiful, sunny afternoon - I exited the subway feeling the need of a hug. While walking toward the elevator for my appointment, I turned to my left and was LOOKING AT JOJO! There was her salon, in its new location (which I had forgotten about). I was so surprised to see her. She was so shocked to see me. She put her scissors down, grabbed me and said, "LET ME HUG YOU."

No - the story gets better....While passing the salon AFTER my appointment, I stopped in for one more hug; I didn't have to ask - Jojo just automatically put her scissors down... This time she was cutting the hair of a very handsome Special Needs' young man, Jason. While I was in her grip, Jason stood up from the salon chair, and there I was once again - being bear hugged....bear hugged by Jason! Jojo quietly whispered to me, "Mare - he doesn't easily let go when he hugs."

"Jo - that is exactly the kind of hug I need today..."
