It is with mixed emotions that we announce the closure of SALON ONE after 23 incredible years of service. This decision was not made lightly, and it comes with a deep sense of gratitude for the loyalty, trust, and support you have shown us over the years.

Since opening our doors, SALON ONE has been more than just a business—it has been a place of connection, creativity, community,and transformation. We have been honored to be a part of your lives, sharing in your milestones, celebrations, and everyday moments.

Your unwavering support and loyalty have been the cornerstone of our success, and we cannot thank you enough for choosing SALON ONE for your beauty needs. You have inspired us every step of the way, and it has been our privilege to serve you.

As we prepare to close this chapter, we want you to know how much we value the relationships we have built and the memories we have shared. While SALON ONE is closing its doors, the bonds we’ve created will remain in our hearts.

Our final day of operation will be December 28th 2024. In the meantime, we invite you to visit us for any remaining appointments or services, and we are happy to recommend trusted professionals to ensure a smooth transition for your future beauty needs.

Happy holidays from all of us at Salon One

I am of two minds as I start my work day of what potentially could be the last of the year. I am happy that tough measures are being taken but enraged that we are here in the first place. I am enraged that I am missing out on the most profitable month of the year. I am enraged that I am being ripped off from the generous tips that get me through the following slowest months of the year. I am enraged that I don’t get to wish my lovely clients a Merry Christmas and thank them for their loyalty and support. I am enraged that I am unable to spend Christmas with my family...all because of the idiots who couldn’t suck it up and not go to THAT party, hang out at THAT gathering, couldn’t go onto THAT subway or shop in THAT store with a mask. We are here because of you. Hang in there folks. Stay committed to what we need to do. Wear a mask. Stay home. Support the little guys. Shop local. We will get through this, but we need to do this together. ❤️

It's not "just hair" Never has been and never will be!

The moment you have all been waiting for is coming… we will be back in business soon! As you know, there is NO confirmed date for the GTA quite yet, but if all goes well, it looks like we will move to phase 2 Friday June 19th. We believe this will be confirmed on Monday June 15th.

Although We are little hesitant to head back when our Covid numbers are still up, they ARE getting better and we need to start easing back to some normalcy. It has been a long road to get to this point…3 months of been of and at home .Time to get to work!!

Now comes the hard part. Fitting everyone in. Our working hours will look quite different to adhere to the guidelines for a salon our size. We can not be able to work full days for awhile. We all have to work in shifts. Only 2 stylists can work at the same time. This will be frustrating for you as We know you all want to get in ASAP, but please be patient. We will do our best. This is may change depends on guidelines we get .

We have summed up most of the key changes in bullet form so you have an idea what to expect when We see you. Please keep in mind all these are temporary but necessary, precautions to get us over the hump, stay healthy and deter a second wave. We have all heard the words “unprecedented times” a million times by now, but they certainly are, and we have to roll with the punches. This is a learning curve for us all.

PPE: both of us require masks. Please come with your own if possible. Disposable ones may be best for clients getting colour. We will have a mask, shield and all capes will be washed after every use, as will our smock.

Change rooms are off limit for now, so you will not be able to change into a gown like before. Please dress accordingly.

Time for disinfecting will reflect in the timing of appointments. We will not be able to fit people into the schedule as tightly as We used to, at least for now.

Clients can only come one at a time and must wait outside for their appointment. Try not to arrive too early, (but don’t arrive late as the schedule will be an intricate puzzle for the first while) . We would recommend you to call at 4169611663 when you arrive and We can let you know when to come in. This way you can sit in your car or grab a coffee while you wait.

As We write this, there is mixed information on hair washing and drying. There may be a period of time that We won’t be able to blowdry, but We hope to have more scoop on that soon.

When you arrive, your temperature will be taken ( our will be taken everyday as well) and you will be required to fill out a questionnaire. We will have to refuse service if you are not feeling 100%. Please be honest for the sake of everyone and give us as much notice as possible if you are not well.

Come with a book and refreshments if you have a longer appointment . We can not offer magazines or water for the time being.

Prices will rise a few dollars to make up for all the new protocols that are being enforced. This has been a very financially challenging time for us. We are just not able to absorb all the new costs on top of not being able to work full days.

if you like to pay in cash, please put money in an envelope or plastic bag for us to collect.


Sunday is most likely going to be an overflow day for me and the quietest the salon will be. I would recommend my older clientele or my immune challenged clientele consider coming in then for the first while. Please contact me.

-In my downtime I have gotten sanitation/disinfection certifications. I will do everything in my power to keep us all safe.


We will send out another email next Monday once we are given the go ahead. We will then open up our calendar for bookings starting Friday June 19 . This would be a good time to download the Vagaro app or check out the website. It can be a bit glitchy at times, but it is a great way of organizing your own appointments.
