Your latch looks right on paper. But it still hurts. Every. Single. Feed.
Here's what that can actually mean.
Swipe through — then save this if it sounds familiar.
You don't have to keep feeding through pain. Book through the link in our bio.

Your child was called difficult. Distracted. Defiant.
Every motor milestone builds more than strength. It builds the brain.
Movement builds coordination, focus, and the ability to regulate big emotions.
When babies skip stages, the body moves forward but misses the brain development that those stages were meant for.
Years later that can look like a child who struggles to sit still, melts down easily, or gets labelled before anyone looks at what their body might still need.
Patty, our OT, leads MyBaby In Motion every Thursday this month. Link in bio to register.

The Moro Reflex - aka the startle reflex.
It's a baby's built-in response to sudden sound or movement.
If your baby startles easily and takes a bit to settle, that's worth paying attention to.
This reflex is normal in newborns, and gradually decreases within the first 3-4 months before going away (known as integration).
What's not as well-known is what happens when that reflex stays activated longer than it should.
The result is a baby who cannot settle, cannot stay asleep, cannot tolerate tummy time, and who misses developmental milestones.
Here at MyBaby, our team combines Craniosacral Therapy and Reflex Integration (gentle body movements) to help calm the nervous system, so the Moro reflex can integrate the way it was designed to.

Your child gets headaches constantly. You've tried everything.
Nothing fully works.
Here's something worth considering.
Kids clench their jaws when they're stressed or deeply focused. Most don't even know they're doing it.
Over time that tension builds in the jaw and neck — and it shows up as headaches, jaw clicking, and neck pain that won't settle.
Jennifer works gently to release that tension.
Most families notice a real difference. Not just in headaches — in how their child feels overall.

Your child had a concussion. They've been cleared by their doctor, but something still feels off.
Headaches that linger, trouble concentrating, emotional dysregulation, sensitivity to light or noise, feeling tired no matter how much they sleep.
The impact that caused the concussion doesn’t just affect the brain, forces move through the skull, the craniosacral system, and the nervous system. Medical clearance means the acute injury has stabilized, but it doesn't mean the body has fully released what it absorbed.
CST works with the craniosacral system to release the fascial compression and tension patterns that remain after the acute phase. Many families notice meaningful shifts in headaches, sleep, and concentration after treatment.
If your child has been cleared but isn't back to themselves, that gap is worth addressing.

The birth doesn’t go as planned.
There’s a transfer to hospital after hours of labouring at home. The pain was getting too intense, and the baby wasn't coming down.
At the hospital they start pitocin, the baby’s heart rate drops, and a C-Section is called.
At the follow-up visit, you walk in and the baby is rigid.
Their fists are tight, shoulders up. They’re not in distress in the way that reads as hunger cues. You try to soothe them and the tension does not fully release.
Elevated muscle tone in a newborn is the nervous system running hot.
For a baby whose craniosacral system holds compression from birth — from a long labor, a vacuum delivery, a posterior position, a C-section — the body may not easily down-regulate.
You are noticing something real. That is a referral for bodywork.
Save this for the family you are thinking of.
